Cpl Leigh Twist receiving her certificate of commendation from Comd JHC at a recent medal ceremony at MOD Stafford. The award, from Maj Gen A R D Shirreff (GOC (MND SE)), was made in recognition of her efforts in successfully extinguishing a fire when a fuel line was hit during a mortar attack at Al-Almarah where Cpl Twist was the TSW site commander. Personnel from Tactical Supply Wing have been honing their helicopter abseiling and insertion skills with a Puma from 230 Sqn, RAF Aldergrove. In addition to the training for Ops Sqn personnel, the opportunity was opened to other TSW personnel to develop their abseiling skills.
